In 2022, the band announced the end of their hiatus, and are due to drop their sixth album in the near future. Gaslight Dallas is located at 3407 McKinney Ave in Dallas, Texas 75204. The following year, the band announced they would be going on hiatus as they focused on other projects, reuniting briefly in 2018 for a run of anniversary shows, and then resuming the break. They went on to gain a huge global following and released a further four studio records, with the most recent being 'Get Hurt' in 2014. The term gaslighting originates from the 1944 film Gaslight, an adaptation of Patrick Hamilton’s 1938 play Gas Light, in which a man manipulates his wife into believing she has lost her grip on. What’s more, The Gaslight Anthem will join fellow New Jersey natives The Original Misfits as special guests for an epic home-state show at Newark, NJ’s Prudential Center on July 8, with additional support from Fear.The Gaslight Anthem are a band from New Brunswick, New Jersey.įormed in 2006, the band have been consistently delivering their unique brand of heartland, folk-inspired punk-rock since their debut album, ‘Sink or Swim’, arrived in 2007.
